You are correct. 

Not me.  Born forty years too soon.  Waterskiied on one ski long ago.  That's as close as I'll get to kiteboarding.

It appears to be a combination of skate boarding and skydiving....and, I suppose, kite-flying itself...in a muscular sort of way.

I won't be doing either of those any time soon either....except kite-flying.
