Wildwood Falls
Lane County Park - Oregon

Go over by that lonesome young man on the far side.

These jumpers did.

Some jump high, some jump low, some jump no.

To jump or not to jump. That is his question.

He jumped!

Will she or won't she?

She will. Repeatedly.

So will he. (No, he's not hanging on to that dead twig in the foreground.)

One did. One will. What will!

In Winter you can barely see these rocks.
Don't plan on jumping then.

That's an inviting waterfall, Jim! Wishing I could be there now.
Hi Jim! Super post and how fun was that to watch! Wildwood Falls looks like a beautiful area.
Jim - What incredibly beautiful waterfalls and views. I wasn't familiar with this area of Oregon at all. Your state is gifted with many natural treasures. I need to revisit there sometime in the near future.
Maria: It's very inviting. I was there on a slow day...maybe a dozen people (jumpers and sunbathers). On a hotter day or a weekend: closer to a hundred.
Monique: Fun to watch. But I would rather have joined them....maybe if I'd sen this post 40 years ago.
Myrl: Keep on making great posts of your own area... I hope to get back there ...maye next summer.
THERE ARE MANY MORE FALLS AVAILABLE...NEARBY... AND ALL OVER LANE COUNTY, OREGON.
Hey Jim
I thought you said there was no stone in your area to build houses......
Jenny:
We have rocks. No stones.
No, seriously: lumber has always been cheaper...lots of carpenters...few stone masons.
This water fall is the most amazing swimming place I have been to. The water is clear and the perfect temperature. Once you get over the whole jumping off the rocks thing, the water isn't to fast moving and safe. There is a grass area to hang out and tan. I recommend everyone coming to this place! But to live close to there would be Amazing!
